NORTH EAST SCHOOL OF THE ARTS presents The QUEEN Rock Musical, WE WILL ROCK YOU
Hot on the heels of the hit movie Bohemian Rhapsody, North East School of the Arts presents WE WILL ROCK YOU, a rock musical showcasing more than 20 QUEEN hits, including “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Killer Queen,” “We Will Rock You,” “Somebody to Love,” “We Are the Champions,” and many more. Music and Lyrics are by QUEEN, story and script by BEN ELTON, and an original vocal score by Mike Dixon and original band members Brian May and Roger Taylor.
It is the distant future. Rock is outlawed and nearly forgotten. The ruthless Killer Queen and her all-seeing Global Soft corporation rule this dystopian world, keeping Ga Ga Kids and Teen Queens in a haze of consumerism and downloadable music. Two revolutionaries, Galileo and Scaramouche, break from this soulless world to seek out the secrets of Live Music, with the Killer Queen’s secret police snapping at their heels.
North East School of the Arts presents the South Texas premiere of WE WILL ROCK YOU, following its victorious 12-year reign on London’s West End, where it rocked over 7 million people in a record-breaking run. WE WILL ROCK YOU has performed in 28 countries around the globe, seen by more than 16 million people.
