Happy Friday! Another week has passed and so much has happened! We closed Footnotes, saw some beautiful artwork at the VA show, and enjoyed an IM concert,  (if you are interested in checking out the performance, live recordings are on our Twitter page!)  You can always follow NESA on Twitter @NESA_NEISD, Instagram @northeastschoolofthearts and Facebook @NorthEastSchoolOfTheArts

That being said, let’s all take a minute to remember to use good social media etiquette and that it is a public forum whose record never goes away! Remind your students too! 😉

Community Resource fair looking for volunteers

NEISD Special Education Department and Family Engagement Services, will be hosting a Community Resource Fair on May 17, 2019 at LEE High School, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. We will be providing our families with over 50+ Community Resource vendors who will be set up in the campus cafeteria.  We also want to make this a family evening with fun and games! We are seeking volunteers to support the children’s activities area of the event, which will also be located inside the cafeteria. We have a couple of schools supporting the area, but need more games, such as a “fishing booth, bag toss, ring toss,” or any other carnival-type games that would be fun for kids attending the fair.  If there are any NESA students interested in this opportunity to receive service hours, we would greatly appreciate their support! Contact Mrs. Pagona if you are interested in helping out!NETS Community Resource Fair_12x18 ENG-1rdqrwp
