Newsies! Coming up soon!

Newsies opens on Thursday and runs through Nov. 11th.  Newsies tickets can only be bought online for a few more days! The box office window opens Oct 30th– Nov. 9th from 4:30- 6:00. Online tickets are $12, box office tickets are $15. We will see you there!

Early Voting this weekend!

Did you know that only a quarter of Texans of voting age are registered to vote? And only a third of those registered actually vote?  Voting is important because it provides people an opportunity to voice their opinion and vote for what they believe in, it holds elected officials accountable for their behavior while in office, and it prevents a minority from dictating the policies of a majority. Early voting locations and hours can be found here! https://www.bexar.org/DocumentCenter/View/4572/Early-Voting-Locations-and-Hours-of-Operation-PDF?bidId

Silent Auction Info and a note from NESA pARTners

The pARTners silent auction is a huge fundraiser that supports NESA initiatives. The things we can do that go above and beyond a normal school- this is how that happens. One of our goals as a school is to increase guest artists and special topics workshops in the arts for our each of our majors, but that cannot happen without help. Please take a moment and read the message below to see how you can help support your child and our school!

Hello NESA Parents and members of NESA pARTners,

We are off to a fabulous start of the year! Thank you, for being a part of this wonderful program. We are excited for the upcoming NESA performance of the award-winning Disney production of NEWSIES the Broadway Musical, November 1 – 4 and November 8 – 11 at LEE High School Auditorium!   In support of this performance NESA pARTners, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization will be sponsoring a Silent Auction Saturday, November 3 and November 10.   100% of all proceeds from the silent auction will go towards supporting all NESA magnet programs and majors.

We are asking you, your friends, families and supporters of NESA to donate items to be auctioned off during the 2-week run of NEWSIES.  We are seeking donations of vacation and weekend getaways, spa packages, entertainment and sporting event tickets, museum and zoo passes, gift cards, and even home improvement, decorating and personal services.

To participate please email NESA pARTners at  info@nesapartners.org or If you have any questions or would like additional information, please feel free to call the NESA Office at (210)356-1033.
