Greetings, NESA parents and students!

Unfortunately, we must cancel the Creative Writing show previously scheduled for Saturday, March 2nd. We apologize for the late notice and promise to bring a fabulous show in May!

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Is it almost SPRING BREAK!?!

Remember there is no school the week of March 11th– 15th.
The end of the nine weeks is March 8th! (Check your kids grades!)

Free Art Lecture at Trinity

Béatrice Coron was born in France and lived in Egypt, Mexico, and China before moving to New York. For the last 25 years, she has been exploring visual storytelling in artist books, paper cutting and public art. Collecting memories from individuals and communities, she stages narrative allegories in silhouette to create a dialogue with the viewer in playful fantasies. These visual chronicles record archetypal stories that transcend time and space. Her goal is to invite the public to pause and bring their own ideas finding personal interpretation to reclaim their imaginative powers. Coron cuts her characteristic silhouette designs in paper and Tyvek, and adapts her paper cuts in metal, stone, rubber and stained glass.  She spoke about this creative process at TED 2011. Her work is in major museum collections such as the Metropolitan Museum, the Walker Art Center, and The Getty. Her public art can be seen in the subways, airports, and sport facilities among others.

Have I told you lately how awesome this school is? Just a reminder, we have fantastic staff, students and parents!

Have a great weekend!
